這一次我們將會探討一下能夠表達將來發生的動作所使用的時式之間的一些區別。   例句 用法

Will Verb (base form)

It will snow tomorrow.
She won't win the election.

表達「預測」

Will Verb (base form)

The concert will begin at 8 o'clock.
When will the train leave?

表達「已訂立行程的事件」

Will Verb (base form)

Will you marry me?
I'll help you with your homework after class

表達「承諾」

Will Verb (base form)

I'll make you a sandwich.
They'll help you if you want.

表達「意願」

Will Verb (base form)

He will telephone as soon as he arrives.
Will you visit me when you come next week?

用於「含時間子句的組合」(as soon as, when, before, after)

Be going to Verb (base form)

Frank is going to study Medicine.
Where are they going to stay when they come?
She isn't going to buy the new house afterall.

'be going to' 用於表達「已計劃的事件或目的」。這些事件或目的在說話時之前已經決定好。

NOTE

'Going to' or '-ing' 通常都可以用於表示計劃好的事件。
'Going to' 應用於表達比較遙遠的打算（意圖） (example: He's going to study Law)

Be going to Verb (base form)

Oh no! Look at those clouds. It's going to rain.
Be careful! You're going to drop those dishes!

表達「根據自然現象（通常從視覺上）作出的預計」

Present Continuous (be '-ing')

He's coming tomorrow afternoon.
What are we having for dinner?
I'm not seeing the doctor until Friday.

表達「已計劃好的事件或個人行程」。通常與come, go, begin, start, finish, have等動詞連用。

Simple Present

The class begins at 11.30.
The plane leaves at 6 o'clock.

表達「已計劃好的公眾事件，如火車、航空、課程的行程（時間）表。」 Common future time expressions include: next (week, month, year), tomorrow, in X's time (amount of time, i.e. two week's time), in year, time clauses (when, as soon as, before, after) simple present (example: I will telephone as soon as I arrive.) soon, later

恆久或持續長時間的狀態

Where do you work?
The store opens at 9 o'clock.
She lives in New York.

習慣或常規

I usually get up at 7 o'clock.
She doesn't often go to the cinema.
When do they usually have lunch?

事實

The Earth revolves around the Sun.
What does 'strange' mean?
Water doesn't boil at 20 degrees.

感受

I love walking around late at night during the summer.
She hates flying!
What do you like? I don't want to live in Texas.

意見或想法

He doesn't agree with you.
I think he is a wonderful student.
What do you consider your best accomplishment?

時間表或行程表

The plane leaves at 4 p.m.
When do courses begin this semester?
The train doesn't arrive until 10.35.

Common present time expressions include:

usually, always, often, sometimes, on Saturdays, at weekends (on weekends US English), rarely, on occasion, never, seldom

日本漁民傳說中的人形海怪"人間"
據說日本漁民間傳說有一種海中的大型未知動物，他們稱為"人間"。
顧名思義這個怪物很像人類，不僅有像人的臉，也有雙手，甚至會使用武器，身長可達20至30米長。事實上，並沒有被目擊的正式報告或記載，只有模糊的報告說，怪物在南極附近的印度洋被發現。在日本也只有一些想像的"人間"繪圖 ，這種想像的海上怪物，他們肯定是很可怕的。
有人推測，有些已知的海洋生物，可能被誤為“人間”，例如：魟魚、鰩魚等。這些魚的底部看起來像一個人類面孔。
也許幾百年來，日本的漁民一直把他們錯認為魔鬼和怪物。
